The term School Improvement is used by nearly everyone in the education arena. At Saint Ann Catholic School we value this yearly process as important and necessary for effective teaching and learning. This process is both strategic and operational.
School improvement is on-going and not an indicator that we are deficient in any way; rather, it allows us to recognize our strengths and continue to build upon them. The Faculty and Staff pick three or four areas on which to concentrate. The target areas for this year are Technology, Math, and Communication.
As the diagram suggests, the faculty and staff work as a team collecting and analyzing data, setting goals, planning, implementing, and evaluating. Each component of the life cycle contains several activities. This is a year-long process.
